There is the touch point for business design innovation; understanding people’s unique values, code and cultural references to reach them as consumers.
I am the founder of Kovent an Indian consulting company that provides business design tools and techniques since 2008. We help businesses to understand consumer’s needs, behaviors and desires through user research, design thinking and business design. We have been working for companies as well as colleges in India and France. |
Back to Belgium where I was born in 1980 from a father who is a freelance mechanical engineer and a mother who runs a floral article business. I spent quiet sometime experimenting tools and machinery in my father’s workshop or assisting my mother in her floral art making

| classes. Besides that I discovered my passion for spiritual and philosophical literature. I finished a Master’s degree in Product Engineering design from the Institut Supérieur de Design (ISD) - Supinfocom Group in Valenciennes and won the prestigious Victor PAPANECK Prize known as “Designer for Real World” in 2004. I worked in France as product designer for the largest French clothing retailer Decathlon and Faurecia a leading automobile company. I decided to move permanently in India in 2004 where I worked for an American Usability Company Human Factors, Inc. as Senior Human Factors Specialist. I handled various usability projects at international level from banking to online retailing and gaming. |
I became resident of India in 2007, been the father of a lovely Belgo-Indian son named Zaidin. Desiring for more challenges and responsibilities, I started my own consulting company a few years later that’s Kovent. I elaborate tools and design processes to respond to |

companies needs in emerging markets. My main contextual innovation design process know as Target Point has been utilised in fields such as FMCG, educational development and energy distribution. I have pleasure in contributing to innovation in favor of a more vibrating and just society. Since 2010, I am in Bangalore where I live happily with my son. I share my free time by taking my son on a bike ride and friends gathering. I love traveling and exploring new things. |
